THE TOPIC

Co-op funds are still the greatest source of untapped funding for promotional products. Walk into a camera shop, sell them a plastic bag and get Nikon to pay for it. Visit a plumbing wholesaler, sell them tool aprons, tee shirts or cups and get someone to pay for the entire promotion. Wake up promotional products distributor...your competition (radio, TV, newspapers, etc...) knows where to find the money. You need to know, too! This is a basic course for anyone in any branch of advertising. You shouldn't be in the business if you don't know how to help your client spend their available co-op dollars. 

This interactive workshop is aimed at distributors and can give suppliers greater insight into their market and how to help distributors obtain a sale. The focus of this session is to educate participants as to the opportunities that exist in the B2B market for the use of co-op advertising as a way to fund promotional products. There is an estimated annual budget of $55 billion available from major consumer product companies for use in co-op advertising. Little is used on promotional products due to the lack of understanding by our industry as to how to get funding. This session explains the opportunity and gives the methodology and techniques.
